Westwood Christian School is a college preparatory school that has been successfully educating students for over 63 years. Our dress code is an important part of our success.
We have learned a lot from the COVID-19 virus over the past 2 years. Changing our internal safety policy and procedures to align with those of CDC are important to maintain a safe and healthy school campus. In recent days the COVID-19 policies have been updated by CDC and our local health officials. As a school we are using these updates as guidelines to update our COVID-19 school policy and procedures. Please carefully read the updates for each individual grade level.
If a child in preschool or elementary tests positive for COVID-19, parents need to contact their child's teacher and inform them of the positive test result. The teacher will then contact the school nurse and Mrs. Ross. Once the school nurse has been informed, she will contact the parents regarding quarantine and return to school dates. Information regarding zoom codes and pickup of student books will be sent out by Mrs. Ross.
If a student in middle school or high school tests positive for COVID-19, parents will need to email Ms. Oksanen. Ms. Oksanen will then contact the school nurse. Once the school nurse has been informed, she will contact the parents regarding quarantine and return to school dates. Information regarding zoom codes and pickup of student books will be sent out by Ms. Oksanen.
We thank you for your cooperation in keeping our students and staff safe.

Westwood Christian School is excited to announce the launch of a new lunch program for the 2022-2023 school year: Promise Catering will be preparing our school lunches in-house every day.
Using Promise Catering’s online service, you can monitor your lunchtime purchases and track what you have been eating for the past 30 days. You can also make deposits directly into your accounts, enable email reminders for when your account balance gets low, and set up auto-replenish to ensure your account never runs out of funds. Each account balance will be updated throughout the day.
We encourage you to set up email reminders for low balances and sign up for the auto-replenish feature. Any money that is not spent by the end of the school year will rollover to the following school year.
We enjoy serving your students. Keeping your account up to date will help us continue to offer your students a great and delicious meal!
Sincerely,
Promise Catering Team
