How to Apply

Using our online application simplifies submission and provides parents a tool for tracking online status of their admission after their application has been submitted. A non-refundable application and test fee of $200 for students entering grades K5-12 or $125 for students entering grades PK2-PK4 must be submitted with each application.

All new families applying to Westwood Christian School will need to meet with the admission department before completing the online application.

An entrance test is required for all students entering grades K5-12 to be considered for enrollment. The date and time of the test will be provided upon completing step 2 of the application process.

All supplementary documents: Birth Certificate, student records for current and previous years, standardized test scores, official transcripts (grades 8-12), school recommendation form, church attendance agreement (grades 8-12), and permission to release records must be uploaded during step 2 of the admission process.

Once the student has been accepted into Westwood Christian School, a non-refundable registration fee is required to reserve your student's seat.

Current immunization records (blue and gold HRS certificates) must be presented before the student may be admitted to class.

Importance of a Biblical Worldview

Since the founding days of our nation, God’s Word had been preeminent in all society. However, during the early 20th century we have witnessed a departing from the foundations of this country. In my lifetime, I’ve seen prayer and the Bible removed from our public schools. Now, the only time we see prayer in schools is after students have been gunned down in the halls of our schools. One of the primary differences between Christian and public education is the choice of curricula. Public schools have moved away from curricula that acknowledges the truth of the Christian faith or its impact on American life. Today, we see America’s religious heritage and morals being regularly denied in our public-school textbooks. That’s why Christian education is essential for our children, because everything is taught from the perspective of what the Bible teaches.

Westwood Christian School’s mission is to prepare our students for college, career, and Christ. Preparing them for Christ involves both offering them a personal salvation through the gospel of Jesus Christ and helping them to grow into mature Christian adults. Central to this maturing process is a thorough understanding a Biblical Worldview and application of the scriptures to one’s life.
