A Few Can Make a Difference!

Let your light so shine before men, that they may know your good works:
- Matthew 5:16

Throughout the Bible we find those who were able to make an impact upon their society. Noah, Abraham, Joseph, Joshua, Caleb, Moses, and Daniel were mightily used of God to persevere the nation of Israel and remain faithful. Then in the New Testament we see how the disciples were able to change the course of this world. As a nation we are approaching a very important election in which the future of this nation hangs in the balance. In just a few days we will know the outcome of this election. Our vote and response is crucial to help keep this 244-year-old republic FREE as we know it today!

I admire how Abraham Lincoln responded when he was running for re-election in 1864. Thinking it was possible that he might lose the election he writes: “Then it will be my duty to so cooperate with the President-elect as to save the Union between the election and the inauguration; as he will have secured his election on such grounds that I cannot possibly save it afterwards.”

Whatever, the outcome is, we as believers need more than ever to make a difference in our nation and support our president. By letting our light shine brightly in this dark world we will be found faithful in praying for our nation.

Remember: a few can make a difference!
