The school does not maintain medical treatment facilities and does not have trained medical personnel on staff, except those qualified in first aid and CPR.
Parents may bring or send prescription medications, cough drops, aspirin and other over-the-counter medications to the school for students, but these should be in the original containers from the pharmacy. Such medications must be left with the school secretary with a note from the parent explaining dispensing procedures, dosage, and times to be taken. The school will try to follow all instructions but will not assume responsibility to see that hit is taken at the proper times or in the proper manner. Students requiring close attention in this area should remain under the parents’ supervision. All medications must be picked up by the parents at the end of each day—dosages for one day. Students with head lice are required to stay home until treatment has been administered.
